A good weekend. Finally getting the start of our urban greening and vertical farms in place. We are installing one tonne gardens in front of the kitchen doors, starting to tackle the problem with the lack of nutritious foods.
The one tonne bags had been craned into place already, We refilled 3 with the spare one. We then set about deciding how to construct the cladding. Using donated palettes we planned to create growing ledges as well as the opportunity for benches.

After much discussion and finger pointing. We started…. taking them apart. Those palettes that got donated got taken apart, which posed multiple difficulties, trying not to snap any of the wood.
They then got put back together.. with cladding to reinforce and make them look a bit more up-cycled and less dumping ground.
